Meeting of the Presidency/ The names of the deputies and members who voted for and against the opening of the race for the head of the Democratic Party are cleared.

The names of the deputies and members of the PD leadership, who have voted for and against the decisions adopted amid tensions and debates, are whitewashed.

After 8 hours of tense debates, the leadership of the Democratic Party made a decision to open the race for president and hold elections on July 29.

The meeting started around 18:00 on Tuesday and closed around 2:30 on Wednesday, where the members of the presidency were divided into two groups. At the end of the meeting, 17 out of 28 members of the presidency voted for the proposal to hold elections on July 29.

While after the end of the meeting, Jorida Tabaku announced her resignation from the post of vice president of the Democratic Party.

VENDIMET E KRYESISE

Fillimin e menjëhershëm të procesit të evidentimit të antarësisë, dhe organizimit të zgjedhjeve për kryetar të PDSH.

1-Në çdo degë të PD brenda datës 15 korrik kryhet procesi i plotë i evidentimit të antarëve me të drejtë vote sipas përcaktimeve të nenit 25 të statutit.

a-Kryetari i degës ngre grupin e punës të degës i cili ka për detyrë të kryejë evidentimin e antarëve me të drejtë vote;

b-Grupi i punës në degë bën evidentimin e antarësisë dhe strukturave në detyrë brenda datës 13 korrik.

c-Lista e përpiluar sipas formatit në aneksin 2 depozitohet pranë sekretariatit të PDSH.

Komisioni Zgjedhor përpilon listën kombëtare të antarësisë me të drejtë vote sipas  përcaktimeve të nenit 25.

2-Organization of the process for the election of the president of the DPSH:

a- The electoral process is managed by the Electoral Commission of the Party;

b- To the Electoral Commission, each candidate submits the application for candidacy by June 20, 2023;

c- The election campaign takes place from June 24 to July 27, 2023;

d- The elections for the president of the PDSH will take place on July 29, 2023.

3- The head of the PDSH within the date of June 12, 2023, appoints working groups at the district level which, in cooperation with the branches, supervise the process of registration of membership;

4-The extraordinary statutory assembly takes place within the month of September 2023;

5-The General Secretary, the Secretariat and the Electoral Commission are charged with the notification and follow-up of the implementation of this decision.

This decision takes effect immediately.
