A vehicle was engulfed in flames while traveling on the axis between the Gorica Bridge and the Suspension Bridge in Berat.

The Volkswagen Polo vehicle, with license plate AA 031 FO, is said to have been suddenly engulfed in flames, creating fear and panic in the city center.

At the moment when the vehicle was engulfed in flames on this axis, many other vehicles were circulating, which stopped and immediately notified the fire brigade.

Numerous fire brigades arrived at the scene and thanks to their quick intervention, it was possible to extract the driver, who was alone in the car at the time of the fire, from the vehicle without injury.

A few minutes later, the flames were located and the fire was extinguished, while the traffic in this area was paralyzed until the flames in the vehicle were completely extinguished. Sources from the Berat Fire Rescue Department claim that they are working to discover the causes of the sudden fire in the Volkswagen type vehicle, which is initially suspected to have occurred due to an electrical fault.
