The head of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, convenes on Wednesday, September 13, for the first time the new presidency, 'cleaned' from the 'Bardhi' group.
Enkelejd Alibeaj, as well as the 4 new vice presidents, will now be part of the presidency as Secretary General.
For the first time, names such as Xhemal Bushati, elected chairman of the National Council, or Gjergji Hani, Basha's former rival in the race for the head of the Democratic Party, are included in the leadership of the Democratic Party.
The new presidency was elected on September 9 and left out all the deputies, with Gazment Bardhi and Jorida Tabaku at the head who opposed the return of Basha as the head of the DP.
