The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Kurti meeting in Tirana, it becomes clear what will be discussed

Accompanied by some of his ministers, Albin Kurti will land in Tirana today. A face-to-face meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama is planned outside the Prime Minister's building. The Ohrid Kosovo-Serbia agreement, which took shape but without signatures, after 10 hours of talks, will be at the center of the Rama-Kurti meeting.

It is not known exactly what advice Albin Kurti will seek from Edi Rama, but he is currently faced with an obligation, that of the rapid implementation of the agreement persistently requested by the internationals. Mediators of the meeting in Ohrid, Josep Borrell and Miroslav Lajçak, continue to send diplomatic messages about the agreement, which, according to them, opens the way for two countries, Kosovo and Serbia, towards the EU.

In Ohrid, the parties agreed on the annex to the implementation of an EU proposal for the normalization of Kosovo-Serbia relations, accepted in principle during a meeting in Brussels on February 27. The EU proposal does not oblige Serbia to recognize Kosovo, but requires both countries to recognize each other's documents, such as: passports, diplomas and car license plates.

The USA has supported the EU proposal, which was previously also known as the Franco-German plan. An official meeting of Kurti is expected to take place in the early hours of the day also in the Presidency of the Assembly with Speaker Lindita Nikolla.
