Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said in an interview for Euronews Albania that Lulzim Basha is preparing to return to the head of the Democratic Party after the local elections.
Spahiu said that Basha is waiting for the defeat in the elections of two DP groups, that of Berisha and that of Alibeaj, in order to return as the savior of the DP.
According to Spahiu, Basha is going to the USA for two weeks, where he was summoned precisely in connection with the court hearing on the DP seal, which took place a few days ago.
"I think that Basha is preparing his return, because Basha is waiting to attack with the same weapon that Berisha attacked him on March 6. It is waiting for the loss in 60 municipalities of Berisha. He will return after the local elections as the savior of the two losers, Berisha and Alibeaj, who only have a war with PSD. Legally, he has not resigned, he will de facto return to the head of the DP after the elections. As far as I know, Basha is going to the USA for 2 weeks, where he was summoned right after the judicial process for the seal, which was also attended by representatives of the USA", said Spahiu.
