Former prime minister Sali Berisha has accused the head of the government Edi Rama of smuggling oil from Libya. 

"About 250,000 tons of oil is smuggled by the government, imported from Libya and other sources," said Berisha as he vowed to halve the oil tax when PD comes to power.

Among other things, Berisha said that Rama "with his ideology, with his corrupt financing, has transformed Albania into a failed state, has contributed to the establishment of monism".

Sali Berisha: The two most basic causes are the terrible corruption and smuggling that Rama and his government do with oil, it is now documented that oil consumption today in Albania is about 250 thousand tons less than it was in 2012. While the vehicles in Albania from 430 thousand that were in 2012 are 740 thousand.
