If the majority rejects the request of the Democratic Party for the establishment of the Investigative Commission for the "Rama-McGonigal" scandal, the decision will be appealed to the Constitutional Court to request the establishment of this commission there.

In a statement to the media, the vice-president of the DP, Luciano Boçi, said that the case of the Commission of Inquiry on Rama's charter trips, which the SP overthrew, will also be sent to the Constitutional Court.

"Of course we will take both cases to the Constitutional Court, the case of charters and this case of McGonigal", said Boçi.

Boçi said that unlike the Commission of Inquiry on charters, this time the majority can change its mind.

"I say that he will be forced and will forcefully demand the implementation of the regulation. The rules of the Assembly must be applied. Here is my hope, the laws of the Albanian state must be applied"

The PD vice-president also spoke about the efforts to unify the DP, saying that the common goal is the removal of Rama.

"These are signals and express the political desire to be together, part of the reflection of the political institution to face the common opponent.

We want the cooperation to be continuous. The goal is a clear frontal battle with this majority," said Boci, among other things.
