"Frightened, the prime minister is buying time"/ Analyst Ben Andoni sheds light on the behind-the-scenes of the "McGonigal" scandal and makes a strong warning: It will be difficult for Rama to finish his mandate, this is what PD is trying to do

Analyst Ben Andoni commented in a TV show on the scandal of former FBI official McGonigal and the accusations of Prime Minister Rama's involvement in this story. According to Andoni, Rama is trying to buy time and seems scared, but he emphasizes that his moral obligation was to clarify the issue in the Assembly.

Andoni views the investigation commission and the opposition's protest with skepticism, saying that the DP is improvising at a time when there is no cause. Andoni said that he finds it difficult for Edi Rama to end his mandate as prime minister, not only because of the big scandals, but also because of the uncertainty of his government.

Not at all normal, for the only reason that if all this smoke that is rising, if he (Rama) does not give an answer, for something where he is mentioned, it really shows that there are problems. It has not seemed to me elegant in respect of the Albanian Parliament. There are some moments where you really owe not just the parliamentarians, but you also owe a little to the people. Today people are more and more unclear about Mr. McGonigal. Because there are as many accusations against him that link him with the majority, now day by day links with the opposition are emerging. In the way the case will be processed in America, then we have all the stones to pursue the Albanian case. Albania's problem is that of great dependence, without any doubt, on the USA. Always this tension and this discourse that is used by the majority and the opposition, is to hide big problems from the country. All this is being done at the moment when Kosovo needs Albania more than ever. It is likely that the North is also outside of Kosovo, but every destabilization has a direct impact on the lives of Albanians. The opposition and the majority before dealing with their FBI servility should deal with the internal problem. The people of the Parliament, including Rama, when they have no interest, put the regulation in front of us. By regulation, delegation is allowed. But morally it is not allowed when you have such a big charge in front of you. I am afraid that even the opposition has left much to be desired for parliamentary morale. E ka thënë Churchill-i ‘do të lësh në mes një çështje ngri komisione hetimore’. Ashtu ndodh edhe te ne, në fund fare në raste të tilla dilet me dy variante. PD dhe PS nuk i përfaqësojnë më shqiptarët. Rama që merr pjesë për çdo gjë, nuk e pengonte askush të sqaronte pozicionin e tij. Pjesa e mazhorancës nëse do t’i shkojë deri ne fund, duhet të pres me kujdes si do veprojë pala amerikane. Edhe protesta s’do ndodhte. Opozita i sajon protestat sepse në shumë momente nuk del kauza, por kauzat janë të përditshme. Është momenti më i mirë që opozita të lërë pritjen sizifiane te gjykata dhe të bashkohet. Të veprojë me shumë kujdes duke pritur hapat e palës amerikane.  Kam përshtypjen që z.Rama po fiton kohë. Zërat e ndryshme dhe kakofonia e zërave të opozitës, e ushqen këtë lloj pasigurie dhe paqartësie. Nëse këto nuk futen në shtrat ligjor, ku ai do deklarohet apo jo fajtor në gjykatë….Duke shfrytëzuar këtë kakofoni zërash Rama thotë që ata janë të paqartë, etj. Por moralisht z.Rama i takonte të ishte në Parlament. E shikoj shumë të vështirë fundin e mandatit të z.Rama, për shkak jo vetëm të skandaleve të mëdha, por edhe pasigurisë së qeverisjes së tij. Ndoshta mund të gjej justifikim për rastin McGonigal, nëse nuk do përfshihet shumë çështja shqiptare.

Rama do të fitojë kohë, është i paqartë, dhe personalisht mendoj që është i frikësuar. Nëse do thellohesh më shumë te çështja shqiptare do shikosh që implikimet janë shumë më të mëdha. Parlamenti merret më shumë me gjëra që s’e prekin shqiptarin e thjeshtë. Besoj që z.Rama i frikësohet kësaj përballje. Diçka më e dhimbshme se frika e tij, është moskonsiderimi më i opozitës. Z.Rama i ka rënë ajo pjesa e tregimit të një personaliteti që mund të besohet dhe të artikulojë çështje të mëdha. Besoj që këtej e tutje, z.Rama s’do jetë më ai njeriu që artikulon më me aq guxim. Kam në kokë gjëra të NATO-s. Nuk besoj se kredibiliteti i PD vjen nga protesta. Ata njerëzit e tyre që thërret Berisha do jenë në protestë gjithmonë. Protestat janë një lloj karburanti për frymën e publikut opozitar dhe atij shqiptar. Por protestat duhet të ishin më të shpeshta dhe me qëllime më të përcaktuara mirë. Nëse s’do ishte z.McGonigal ne s’do kishim protestë më 11 shkurt. PD improvizon. Ata kanë problemin gjyqësor dhe problemin e madh që s’arritën t’i bashkonin demokratët. Megjithatë edhe kjo protestë i ka vlerat e veta, nëse do adresohet mirë, nëse do tregojë shqetësimet, nëse do zgjedhë mirë njerëzit që do artikulojnë, mendoj që mund ta rrijë qëllimin e saj”.
