Accused of drug trafficking in Italy, Balla reacts to the arrested officer

A police officer has been handcuffed in the Greek state. Amarildo Kureta, 32 years old, worked for several years in the Berat Local Police Directorate, where he was part of the operatives of the Operational Forces in this directorate.
Interior Minister Taulant Balla has announced that the latter has been dismissed from the ranks of the police, and that as of August 2 he was no longer on duty.
It is learned that Kureta had received his annual leave and was going on vacation, but as soon as he entered the Greek customs he was handcuffed. The official sources of DVP Berat confirm that they have not received any notification from Interpol that their officer was a person "wanted" for drug trafficking.
Kureta was wanted by the Italian state, where he is accused of drug trafficking, after several years of investigations and encryption of telephone conversations between the officer and a structured crime network in the field of narcotics.
