The head of PL, Ilir Meta, has refused to give a comment regarding the silence of the US ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, regarding the case of former FBI agent McGonigal.
In a statement to the media, Meta once again welcomed the decision of the majority in the US Congress to fully investigate the case of the former FBI official.
"I have no reason to deal with these comments, but I welcome once again the decision of the majority in the US Congress to investigate this matter fully and this is very important, and it is not like the Palo-Parliament of April 25 where with one drop of the pencil the Speaker of the Assembly approves an absolute and Stalinist request for the exclusion of 4 MPs from the PD parliamentary group" - he said.
