Police notification:
In relation to a video posted on portals, in which a citizen appears abusing an animal (dog), we clarify that:
Services of Police Station No. 4, after the release of the footage, the investigations into the case in question immediately began, according to all the provisions provided in the Criminal Code, and at the end of the actions, they referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, for the criminal offense "Intentional killing of a companion animal" .
The Tirana Local Police Directorate thanks the media and citizens who denounce all cases of illegality and invites them again to denounce at the number 112.
