The head of Nisma Thurje, Endri Shabani, has stated that in order to resolve the impasse in the Municipality of Himara, Jorgo Goro must first be dismissed from the post of mayor.
Shabani made the comments in a television show, where he said that after the dismissal of Goro, who is currently in prison by order of SPAK, the Municipal Council must choose between two deputy mayors to run this institution until new elections are held. .
Shabani also said that if none of the vice-presidents is elected and the seat remains vacant for 6 months, then the Municipal Council elects one of its own members.
"According to the law on local government, Article 61 requires Goro to be dismissed and Rama must dismiss him. Or resign. At the moment he is dismissed, the Municipal Council must choose between 2 vice-presidents.
If no one is chosen and the seat remains vacant for 6 months, the City Council chooses someone from within the Council. This is the essence. The elections will be held, but until the elections are held, these are the roads.
