The Minister of Tourism stated that there are 450 thousand Greek tourists who chose to spend their holidays in Albania this year.

In an interview for 'Real Story' with journalist Sokol Balla, Kumbaro also responded to the debate that Albanian immigrants with Greek passports are also classified as part of this figure.

"According to the definition of the World Tourism Organization, a tourist is any person who is not a resident of the country he is going to. The part of the Albanian diaspora in Greece was there years and years ago, we have an increase in the number of visitors who have entered Albania with Greek passports, especially during the holiday season. For the first time this year, the Greek media have talked a lot about tourism in Albania, which did not happen before.
