For the first time, a meeting of the Association Stabilization Council between the EU and Albania was held in Tirana, which brought to the capital the two high officials of the EU, Josep Borrell and Oliver Várhelyi. What is happening in Albania that no one imagined until a very short time ago. Justice is hitting people, individuals, connected to power or not, as has never happened in the history of this country. This reform, the time of the untouchables and those sheltered under the umbrella of power, is over. I am proud that Albania is the only country in the region that has taken this step. Whatever it is, if there is business with justice, he should get a lawyer. SP does not provide legal services to anyone", he declared. So this statement by Rama is a clear message that whoever has open accounts with the justice system, such as the former deputy prime minister Arben Ahmetaj, should stand up for himself. Rama further emphasized that the government is preparing a reform that will overturn the system of Public Prosecutions. "The removal of prosecutions from the hands of the institutions is our objective. There will be no more senior officials who will have public relations. We are cooperating with United Nations agencies for this. This is an aspect that will save Albania from aspects of the fight against corruption", he said.

Fiscal amnesty
