Kreshnik Spahiu reveals: Here's what will happen tomorrow at the Kurti-Vu?i? meeting
Written by SOT.COM.AL 13 Shtator 2023
Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the delay in the dialogue has harmed Kosovo, not Serbia.
According to him, the delays have favored Serbia in some aspects, saved Vu?i? from an internal political crisis and strengthened his relations with the West.
"Kosovo is under sanctions today. After Russia, Kosovo is the second country under EU sanctions. On the other hand, since the war, Belgrade has never been closer to the West. We must be successful in the dialogue to remove the sanctions, the second thing that is important for Kosovo is that any delay in realizing the conditions of the Franco-German project will harm Kosovo. Another project is expected to be more negative than the Franco-German one. Kosovo does not have the luxury of confronting the West. If the dialogue fails, the blame should remain with Belgrade, so we should not be an obstacle to Berlin's project", said Spahiu.
