"Violence and boycott have pushed the DP back", the DP deputy makes a strong statement: The blocking of the Parliament is done for personal interests. Corruption cannot be fought with the former corrupt

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Arbi Agalliu, stated that his colleagues who block the proceedings of the Parliament do not do so to protest against the violation of the rights of the opposition, but for other reasons.

"I and the Democratic Party distance ourselves from the acts of violence and the boycott. The history of DP has shown that violence and boycott have taken this party backwards.

It is interesting that the deputies who blocked the work of the Parliament by lighting flares participated in the "online" commissions.

This shows that those individuals have other reasons for blocking the Parliament", said Agalliu in the "Ditar" studio.

"In 30 years, it had never happened that the budget was discussed for only 5 minutes. I don't know why they block us from speaking because in this action the ones who lost were the other opposition MPs and the citizens, since the majority, with or without smoke, has continued on its way.

Blocking Parliament with chairs is done for personal interests. Why are they doing it right now when justice is calling them one by one, either left or right?", added Agalliu.

The MP further underlined that the Albanians do not want this opposition.

"You cannot fight corruption with the former corrupt. I say this to everyone, left and right. With the reorganization of the party, which closes in December, we continue with our battle, in our own way, without violence and boycott, but discussions within the institutions", said Arbi Agalliu.
