The deputy reacts to the withdrawal of DP candidates: A path can be found to come up with a candidate

The chairman of the "Movement for National Development" party, Dashamir Shehi, invited to the "Special Report" studio with journalist Arlind Isa, among other things, spoke about the withdrawal of some of the official PD candidates from the race for the "May 14" elections.

Shehi said that this shows an incompetence of a political group, but according to him these are things that happen and it is not the end of the world.

He said that the candidates of the official DP should participate in the contest in the areas where they see that they have a real chance of winning. Shehi then emphasized that until election day there is still time to fix things, with candidates who may leave and give way to those who are more contenders.

" In this situation there is no big drama. Do not take it as if it is the end of the political world. This is the result of incompetence. Their justification is that we don't have the stamp behind it, why the stamp makes a party, no, it's the people.

Somewhere, some people see that they have no chance of winning, and for me, these are things that happen.

I would say that where they have a chance to win, let them in, because everyone has a right. Where they find it impossible, they better leave.

My suggestion is between now and the election, it can be fixed, they can leave, they can merge, for the best possible result.

Suggestion from my side, this political language between DP parties is not necessary," he said.

The head of the LZHK said that the union should mostly be done in the big municipalities of the country if the opposition wants to win these elections, but adds that this union cannot be done if the parties speak this language to each other.

" In my opinion, starting from Tirana, a path can be found to come up with a candidate. But it cannot be said whether there is such language between the parties. The same thing can and should happen in big municipalities. Because in small municipalities, character often wins.

I say that there is still time to make a decision regarding the majority, regarding proportionality, everyone should try with their own possibilities," he concluded.
