The MP of SP tells how the situation in Ukraine is since the war and talks about

A group of Albanian deputies are in Kiev, within the framework of the anniversary of the war in Ukraine, as a sign of solidarity to show that Albania stands by the state of Ukraine.

Socialist MP Denis Deliu, part of this delegation, told Panorama TV what the situation is like in Kiev. He says that everywhere there are soldiers carrying out their mission, while he said that in some areas that they had visited today, they also saw innocent people who had been killed. Deliu said that the Albanian delegation was accompanied by the National Guard of Ukraine all the time.

The Albanian delegation includes MPs Pandeli Majko, Xhemal Qefalia and Denis Deliu.

Excerpt from the interview:

Ervin Kukeli: You are in Kiev and can you describe to us a wider panorama of the situation there?

Denis Deliu: Here the situation is calm, although there was information that the Russian army could attack with rockets, but in fact so far it has not happened. On the streets of Ukraine you can see a lot of military vehicles, soldiers participating in various tasks and in general it is not the same as a year ago. I was there a year ago. It was different, while today there is an army presence in every part of the city. There are many fortifications, which served during the beginning of the offensive. We have also visited several collapsed bridges, as strategic points where Russia could infiltrate. In the outer parts of the city there were many burned cars, there were also many innocent people killed.

As for the delegation, when they move, how are the security measures for you, but also for the other delegations?

Denis Deliu: We are part of a delegation with more parliamentarians than other countries. In Albania, we are represented by the largest number of deputies, because the former Prime Minister Majko has a merit, because he was the minister for the Diaspora and there are many Albanians here in Ukraine. Majko has all the contacts with these people who today live in those areas where they were occupied. We have been protected by the Kiwi national guard, everywhere we have gone where we have visited war zones. It is a very disturbing situation.
