But many citizens are complaining about the abnormal questions that have been addressed to them as they are not on the list at all. Some have thrown ideas as if they were formulated by the biggest oligarch in Albania, Samir Mane, because of their content, since the Census seemed to him like a survey of Neptune for offers of housewives. Here is what is written on social networks. "This Census that is being done looks like it was formulated by Samir Mane! For example: Do you have a washing machine? do you have a tv Do you have a stove? Do you have a microwave? do you have air conditioner Do you have a dishwasher? do you have a shower God knows what the state needs my appliances for... Do not answer any of these questions, just in case you are paid for this type of information. Meanwhile, these types of questions do not exist in the official form that I found on the Internet!", states the citizens' complaints. Some others are ironic by saying that at the end you have a comment like: You didn't see there are offers at NEPTUN. Another commenter deepens the scandal by saying that he received €50 to answer you about electrical appliances. We remind you that this is the twelfth Census in 100 years, which takes place in Albania, starting from the first one, which was carried out in 1923. The previous censuses on the population were carried out in periods of 5 years and then 10 years. They requested data with free declaration on the economic and social situation of individuals and families, on housing and other properties, related to living conditions. After the fall of the communist regime, the INSTAT Census in 2001 and 2011, in addition to basic statistics, collected data on internal and external emigration of residents, as well as on their religious and ethnic affiliation. The census postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
