Medical students have announced that they will return to protests on October 2. Earlier they expressed that they will boycott the academic year if the law which will put them in front of an agreement, will not be overthrown.
According to the bill, medical students who register this year, after completing their studies, will have to work in the country for 5 years in order to receive the diploma.
According to the government, this is done to prevent the departure of young doctors from Albania, but it seems that this decision will not be accepted by the students, who will continue the protests even at the start of the academic year.
