Basha reacts after Rama's statement that he attacked the Americans, makes it clear that the USA owes Albania nothing, accuses the prime minister of being corrupt

The former leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, reacted to the accommodation of the Iranian opposition in the MEK camp, while he burst into strong accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama. The latter, as he was invited to a television studio this Thursday evening, pointed at the Americans, while emphasizing that our allies the United States of America have a debt to pay for Albania, referring to the accommodation of members of the Iranian opposition in the camp MEK. But in relation to this statement, a strong reaction came from MP Lulzim Basha, where according to him, our strategic allies, the USA, do not owe anything to each other. In fact, Basha underlined that today Albania has not yet met the standards of partnership and strategic alliance between the USA, such as the rule of law, free media, fair competition and the fight against corruption and organized crime. "Our strategic allies the USA have no debt to us, while we can never forget the debt to them for independent Albania, freed from communism and in NATO, for the liberation and independence of Kosovo and for the rights of Albanians in the Republic of Macedonia and everywhere . "Functional democracy and free media, fair competition and market freedom, the fight against corruption and organized crime are the standards not yet met by Albania," writes Basha. Meanwhile, we recall that Prime Minister Edi Rama declared two days ago that the US has a debt to settle with Albania, referring to the sheltering of members of the Iranian opposition in the MEK camp, because of which the country has faced cyber attacks. Rama clarified that with strategic allies, you cannot make alliances that take what you like and reject what you don't like. Prime Minister Edi Rama emphasized that a country has obligations and moments when it must become valuable to major allies.

Basha hosts the leaders of the Democratic Alternative Party in a meeting

On the other hand, the former leader of the DP, Lulzim Basha, held a meeting with the chairman of the Democratic Alternative, Armend Aliu and Aziz Azir. He said on social networks that the meeting discussed the population census process in the municipalities of Bujanovac, Presheva and Medvegja. Basha said that it is of critical importance that the data processing process is followed carefully and that they are not deformed.
