Lulzim Basha, through a post on social networks, stated that he held a meeting with those he called "recent members of the Democratic Party".

Basha wrote on Facebook that he held a conversation where he answered questions after a year of silence on his part and filled with "slander and deception from the one who, for personal interests and his family, decided to attack the PD", saying referred to Sali Berisha.

According to him, to cover his failure and isolation, the former prime minister has resumed the same attacks, as he added that at night he shares favors with oligarchs in common with Rama, while during the day he accuses others.

He added that unlike Berisha, whom he called the cause of this situation in the DP, he took a step back because he did not want an internal war, as he went on to say that he felt it was his duty to devote his energies to an opposition in service of the people and not the interests of a group that has been benefiting from it for 30 years.

Nothing has changed, the situation is even worse for the democrats and the Albanians.
That is why I feel it is my duty to devote my energies to an opposition that serves the people and not the interests of a group that has been profiting from it for 30 years.

Democrats today are clearer than ever that they cannot win without an alliance with the US, Great Britain and the European Union, and that personal troubles cannot become an obstacle for Democrats and Albanians who want change.
