"Ace under the sleeve" of Berisha? The three PD MPs expelled from Alibeaj form another coalition for the May 14 elections

More specifically, Tritan Shehu has written with the "Bashkimi Liberal Demokrat" Party, Edmond Spaho for "Bashkimi Demokrat" and Luan Baçi for "Balli Kombëtar". With this move, they helped create another coalition. This is because, according to the law, the candidates for Mayor and Municipal Councils presented by the party that do not have a mandate in the Assembly, as in the present case, must collect no more than 3,000 signatures. However, to save from such a thing, because yesterday at 12:00 was the deadline for registering coalitions, The 3 expelled deputies have switched to the logo of 3 new parties, making it possible to create the coalition "Liberal Right Alliance". Which means that these three parties, i.e. the National Democratic Front, the Liberal Democratic Party, the Democratic Union Party, by receiving the signatures of three deputies, are considered parliamentary parties and therefore do not have the obligation to collect signatures to run with their lists in choice. This looks like a tactical choice of Sali Berisha. Meanwhile, the lists of these parties for municipal councilors can be used by the Democratic Party to introduce potential winning candidates who have been left out of the main list of the opposition coalition, because that list will include candidates from the grouping of Berisha as well as representatives of Meta, Dula and Ndoka.
