The Chairman of the OSCE Presence in Albania, Ambassador Guido De Sanctis, organized yesterday a meeting with the ambassadors of the OSCE participating states and international organizations in Albania to exchange information and coordinate assistance and positions for the local elections on May 14. The chairman of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, was also present at this meeting. De Sanctis focused on the findings of the report of the OSCE/ODIHR Needs Assessment Mission for the May 14 elections, as well as recalled the recommendations from previous reports that remain to be fulfilled. Considering the CEC as one of the closest and most trusted long-term partners, he assured that the support for this institution will continue.
