Enkelejd Alibeaj leaves open the possibility of running in the race for the head of the Democratic Party. Asked by the journalist Sokol Balla, if he will run or support any other candidate in this race, Alibeaj said that he will make every move not to divide the PD more.
Will you run or support any candidates? The first, not to create currents, I have thought about this as well. All the actions I have done so far, is to prevent the creation of new fractures in PD. What has happened so far is that DP is self-supporting, has potential to grow. It has spread not only among DP supporters, but also abroad about our philosophy. Any kind of individual movement that will bring the risk of new tensions in DP, I would not allow myself to do such a thing. I will make any kind of movement not to divide, but to strengthen the DP on this path. If I see signs of a weakening of the attitude towards the past, Berisha, respecting relations with the USA, distancing from corruption, they are intolerable. This is the threshold that made the separation of acts.
