Will he run for the head of the DP? Kelliçi affirms: I met with Tabak, but I do not have a negotiation mandate

After the elections, Belind Këlliçi broke the silence and met with the official PD vice president Jorida Tabaku, who before the elections, defended the idea that the opposition should have only one candidate in Tirana.

"I have met Mrs. Tabaku. We talked about personal issues, but also about the campaign, about the result. We are all upset, disappointed by what happened, but I prefer it to remain a matter of that meeting", said Mr. Kelliçi for the show "Pa Censure", on RTSH.

 And despite his willingness to defuse the situation and talk with the other party in the DP, it seems that this is only a personal will, not mandated by the forums. 

"There is no negotiation. Zero. I'm sitting down to drink coffee to talk about the situation," Kelliçi replied to journalist Elona Meço's interest.

 "I have no mandate to negotiate. It was not treated as a matter of negotiation, but it was raised as an issue that we need to find a common path, we need to find a solution as long as we agree that we have Edi Rama as an opponent," said Belind Kelliçi, who was also asked if has the ambition to run later to take the leadership of the Democratic Party.

 "I have no such ambitions, I do not serve this ambition. My only ambition is to win the elections, preferably before 2025 to overthrow Edi Rama. This is my biggest ambition," said Belind Këlliçi for the show "Pa Censure", not changing much from Erion Veliaj, when he was asked during the campaign by journalist Elona Meço, if he had ambitions to take over the leadership of the SP after the end of the third term.
