The deputy of the Democratic Party, Saimir Korreshi, spoke about the developments within this political force, saying that the party, which is already divided into two camps, should be united at this moment.

Asked if he will side with Berisha if the courts legally recognize him as the leader of the DP, Korreshi affirmed that he will join Berisha, although he has different opinions from him.

Korreshi: I had my reservations about the Reestablishment, but here we are for DP. Whether we like it or not... The opposition has the biggest part of the blame for having its own problems and not knowing how to solve them. We need to know who should be de juro. This court cannot wait and does not waste an hour to deal with PD. We need to know which of the assemblies, the court will recognize. DP depends on the court decision. We will unite the PD, as long as I am given a voice, the debates will be inside the institutions and not on television, this does not help the PD to grow.

Korreshi: Definitely, if he will be the chairman of the DP where will I be. We wage our war inside the PD headquarters. Berisha told anyone who runs within the PD, he wins. There are rumors that Basha may return, but this would do even more damage to the PD. We must think how to bring victory to DP. Day after day, morning, lunch, dinner, DP enumerators are taken hostage during the elections.

Question: Why don't you go after Berisha right now?

Korreshi: Because now we think differently from Berisha. Berisha's "non grata" disrupts work within the PD, but Berisha has said that he will resolve it privately.
