23 mayors, 4 ex-ministers and 2 MPs in the SPAK network, here are the files that will sink Edi Rama to the bottom after the return of the special prosecutors from Washington
Written by Elmas Bogdani 20 Nëntor 2023
Investigations and criminal charges have marked ministers, deputy ministers, other senior officials of Rama 1, Rama 2 and Rama 3 governments, mayors, associates, clients, their partners in corrupt affairs and exponents of organized crime who have received bonuses of directly from the government. More specifically, in the cell we are talking about today are dozens of imprisoned socialists, who are accused of being involved in riots, but in reality it was the firms for Edi Rama that sank them. Among the large group that is in prison, candidates for prison, or some of whom have given peace, are Saimir Tahiri, Lefter Koka, Alqi Blako, Vangjush Dako, Arben Ahmetaj, Damian Gjiknuri, Frida Krifca, Olta Xhaçka , or Belinda Balluku, who had a very good and friendly relationship with Prime Minister Rama. In front of SPAK are 23 mayors, 4 former ministers and 2 socialist deputies. In the end, the head of the government lets them all go, saying that they "have eaten pears behind their backs". SPAK's action on the weekend against Ilir Beqaj in statistical value increased the number of Edi Rama's pear-shaped heroes, who have fallen one by one in the endless battles to add millions of zeros from thefts and robberies of taxpayers' money. When Minister Lefter Koka and MP Alqi Blako were arrested for landfills, and his former ministers were called to SPAK for various concessions, Prime Minister Edi Rama said: "I don't know anything, but if they have "stained their finger" behind their backs my, let them find a lawyer. On December 13, 2022, when he was asked about the allegations about some hotel bills, which Klodian Zoto is suspected to have paid to former minister Arben Ahmetaj, Prime Minister Rama said again: "I don't know anything and I have nothing to do with it, but if there is plucked "pears" behind my back, he has business with justice and needs to find a lawyer. In the February 16 interview on TV-Klan, when he was asked about the investigation launched by SPAK about the former minister Ahmetaj, the prime minister said: "I don't know anything, but the one who gets his head smelled to fulfill his interests, let him get a lawyer because I can't help him."
Rama's files in SPAK
Yes, we all know that no one eats pears outside of Rama's eyes. He does not let anyone pick a pear seed unless he allows it, unless he blesses it, neither the leaves nor the grass in the street. SPAK is thoroughly investigating and Rama is on the alert as the special prosecutors, while taking half of his government to prison, may find evidence that implicates the prime minister as well. Incinerators is a concrete case. Let's return to Rama's positions in the face of constant accusations that the incinerators were all a corruption scheme. It is understood that Rama then was not as principled as he is today, on the contrary, he has responded harshly to anyone who asked him to stop a pure affair of corruption. In 2017, the leading socialist led the entire SP parliamentary group to the yard of the waste treatment plant in Elbasan. The first accusations against Lefter Koka and the incinerators had just begun. Barricade against corruption whistleblowers, in the first row, next to Rama, were the ministers Arben Ahmetaj, Damian Gjiknuri, Lefter Koka, the head of the parliamentary group Taulant Balla, the mayor Qazim Sejdini, even Stela Gugallja, one of the beneficiaries of the concession, can be seen in the photo. Rama called the incinerator "a meaningful example of the latest technology". "An investment we cannot be proud of", he said to those present. "I am very grateful to the Minister of Environment and the Minister of Finance. The latter, although he is a Gyrokastri, in this case he solved the bag to the end, which I assure you, is not easy", Rama then thanked Arben Ahmetaj. "You haven't seen anything yet, because this is just the beginning" swore the prime minister, announcing the construction of another incinerator in Fier and another in Tirana. Today the facts show the opposite and the former socialist minister warns Rama that he will open his mouth about who is primarily responsible.
McGonigal
In addition to the incinerators, Rama is also at risk in the "McGonigal" file. Before the group of 10 special prosecutors, led by SPAK head Altin Dumani, went on their study visit to Washington, they gave signals that the "McGonigal" file in which Rama is implicated is being deepened in the investigations. Dorian Ducka, Rama's adviser, appeared before SPAK on October 26. He stayed there for 4 hours. Meanwhile, for the journalists, he refused to comment, but only said that they can ask the Department of Justice in the USA. SPAK is expected to continue in the coming days with other witnesses on this issue and one of these characters may be the main protagonist, Prime Minister Edi Rama. SPAK's visit to Washington may shock the head of government as they have received information and instructions from meetings with DASH-FBI-DEA and "iron" American prosecutors. One of these files could be that of "McGonigal". The Americans have made SPAK's job easier, as special prosecutors can use US resources for Albanian implications in the counterintelligence agent's file. The very subject of the investigation, that is McGonigal, has accepted involvement with Rama and other Albanian government officials and culpability in relations with them to harm the Albanian opposition. Altin Dumani may have received in the US the preliminary report that the judge of the case Colleen Kollar-Kotelly requested a few weeks ago for the Albanian file where Edi Rama is mentioned 14 times and where it is shown how he built an occult relationship with the former head of the FBI of New York with the aim of destroying the opposition. In addition to "McGonigal" and the incinerators, the investigations and scanning of more than half of the Socialist Party also endangers Rama's positions, since nothing can be done with his signature and seal.
