Repeated symphony with nationalistic intermezzo

Repeated symphony with nationalistic intermezzo

The local elections of May 14 in Albania ended with a pink background, and the indisputable victory of the socialists. Were there any innovations in these elections, apart from the victory of the socialists in Shkodër? As far as we have seen so far, it was a campaign that seems that the consequences of the opposition's departure from the previous elections have left irreparable consequences. Reading today's vote is quite simple, because the division of the opposition has done its job, but also the coalition with the Freedom Party and the Reestablishment Party created absolute voter abstention. Another Albania awaiting punishments for 32 years of theft and crimes by the new justice was this time the most patient expectation of the Albanian electorate. You cannot overlook a good job with a development perspective in some cities of Albania, such as in Tirana, Durrës, Vlorë, Ersek, Berat, Korçë, and the promises for important investments in Shkodër and in the North of the country, but also in Elbasan and Vlora and the cities on the outskirts and in the depths of the country. This is also due to the fact that today this country wants to run to catch the standards of the European Union in order to absorb as many funds and projects with sustainable development as possible. The experience of Albanian politics seems not to have been separated from the municipality-government binomial, because the education of the electorate in this way is even more pragmatic, despite the fact that in local elections the formula is something different than parliamentary elections. The vacuum created by the departure of a part of the population in the west has nothing to do with the current politics in Albania. because this phenomenon was planted earlier by the former revanchist parties to destroy everything under the name of the war against communism and the promise of the "white check", it is creating a pressure for a long-term policy and a challenge for the 2025 elections. It is not only the monetary policy of raising wages that can curb the phenomenon of immigration. Laws must be changed, which apparently we will not avoid, because time requires the adaptation of Albanian legislation to that of the EU. Albania's challenges remain meritocracy in the state administration, the fight against corruption and the distribution of state funds to technology businesses that employ new people for second and third parties abroad. Strengthening agrarian business by regulating property law, because you cannot develop an agriculture with small plots and moreover you have to bring fresh produce to the tourist resorts, which could be the future of the sustainable development of Albania. Increasing the level of professional education with EU standards so that they are ready for education, not only for the local workforce, but also for the workforce that is expected to come from abroad. Infrastructure in rural areas increases employment, but also opens the perspective for many areas to bring agricultural products to the city markets more quickly and remove the monopoly of some traders who create artificial price crises. It seems that the social model in the Albanian countryside must urgently go to collective organizations with capital in both tools and products, as is the model in the EU countries as well. where we want to enter, we dreamed of it in 1991. Hopeful as you see a new generation of very young mayors who have just been confirmed as winners in these elections, we believe that they have been trained in the political schools of the parties, but also in the countries of the EU. The trust given to them by the electorate is a responsibility for the administrators of the municipalities, they should already deserve this privilege given to them by the vote of the citizens. The spirit of hope is also the moral capital of every winner, so they must be at the same pace as the wishes and aspirations of the people to move forward. "Repeated symphony with nationalist intermezzo", although we had particles of emancipation where the opponents shook hands with each other congratulating them on the victory, it continues with the refusal to accept the result on the part of the Albanian opposition which, to its shame, did not distance itself from the elected for the municipality of Himara, Mr. Fredi Beleri. To make an opposition, to make a political war under the generation and over the generation without morals, this is a matter in the conscience of every politician and the party he represents. Those of us who know from the history of the formation of our state have no choice but to stigmatize it with the character of Selim in the film "Ošetim na pistost", or in Sulejman Pitarka's drama "Fisherman's Family", in short, the phenomenon of "Selim" cannot be separated where the other character Jonuzi Bruga's father says to his traitorous son, "You may not love me and my brothers' mother, but you should love Albania...Albania". The candidates of any opposition should have distanced themselves and left the race first as patriots and secondly as Albanian politicians with integrity and thirdly as people not to follow a policy that leads to qorsokak alone for the troubles of some people who want to escape punishment from Albanian justice. Your loss was also inevitable for this fact, and do not look for alibi that comes from the smell of national betrayal. The myopia of the career caught the eye of how the piranha wanted to cooperate with a "megalith", a story made up in the 1890s by the former Greek Prime Minister Jan Kapodistria, who was previously the foreign minister of Russia, to take the lands of Turkey and ingratitude to the Albanian factor that contributed to the Greek revolution did not recognize minorities. The nationalist intermexo of Greek politics has no place to stay, on the one hand it waits for the Albanian friend at home and they praise and court each other, and on the other hand they put us in the lost caves of history with no way out. The economy of Greece was also raised by the wings of Albanian emigration and today he feels like a European citizen in Greece, thanks to the policy of some open-minded Greek politicians, who see in the neighbor a stable and reliable regional and western development partner.
