Face-to-face teacher-student exams, or with quizzes?

Face-to-face teacher-student exams, or with quizzes?

With the change of the political system in the 1990s, changes began in the field of education.
In the field of education, it started with the elimination of sports and music classes under the pretext that they were held only for propaganda and were not useful. The reason: neither athletes nor singers were coming out. Not mentioning the main role of educating children with the love of music and sports and above all avoiding non-educational actions. Changes began in the administrative direction of the schools, where the direction with political persons loyal to the party that came to power began to prevail, the removal of old teachers and especially those who were members of the ALP. The change of programs and texts, as well as the way of checking students' knowledge, began. The old form of taking students to exams was eliminated. This quiz pattern started. This model, as far as we have heard, is a model that does not show the appropriate level of knowledge that the students have acquired. Practice has shown that it is suitable for the development of corruption. For years, the same sound has been heard; the exam thesis came out 30 minutes, or an hour, before the start of the exams. Without entering the students in the classrooms, the "secret" thesis took hold. This exam model does not put the student to work to acquire knowledge of the subject. The thought that the thesis will come out, it will be copied, I will receive it ready is added and reinforced. Even the exam thesis with these quizzes, especially in faculties, is sold for Lek. Where does the thesis come from, which receives data through the mobile phone? Definitely from those who compile it there in the ministry. Maybe even from the rectories? Where the thesis is prepared. The Ministry: "The thesis has come out, but the process has not been affected"! How is it possible that the thesis circulates through mobile phones, even solved, but the process is not affected? But even worse! How can the basic and permanent document be affected in schools, amza? How is it possible, gentlemen of the Ministry of Education, when before the 1990s, a teacher managed to open the envelope with theses coming from the Ministry, he ended up in 2 years in prison, or a school principal got his brain and signed a "Release Certificate" for the school 8-year-old unjustly, ended up with 3 years in prison, while today without the point of responsibility it is said that the exam process has not been affected and such phenomena pass easily - easily? The same melody has been heard for years... The main and permanent document in schools is destroyed, the responsibility runs to the principal, to the school secretary. But who is the one who touched the heart, the one who brought out the thesis, only God knows, because he sees the whole world and what is done on this earth. So I am personally against this type of knowledge control. But why am I with the pre-1990 model? I believe that this model has several advantages: From my own experience, but also from discussions with fellow teachers, we stick to the model before the 1990s. The student was placed face to face with the committee, which was set up with 2-3 subject teachers in schools, but also with the participation in the committee of a representative on behalf of the Education Section, who looked at whether the examination procedure was properly followed. Once, until 1964, exams started from the fourth grade of the lower cycle, V, VI, VII..... and until the last year of the university. Later, for the 8-year education, it was decided that the 8th grades were taken in the exam. The subjects that the students took in the exam were Language-literature, mathematics, algebra; written and oral. Later, exams were given in other subjects such as geography and history of Albania. This is for eighth graders. In these exams; language, mathematics, history, geography theses were drawn up, which had 3 questions. The student would take a thesis, sit on the bench and prepare (orientate himself around the drawn thesis). He appeared in front of the commission, which made the assessment each one independently. At the end, there was a discussion about the evaluation of each student. This way of the exam forced the student to prepare for the entire subject, because he did not know which teaching topics will be included in his thesis. In the written exams, the envelopes came from the Ministry of Education sealed with the seal of the Ministry of Education. The envelope was checked by the committee and opened in front of the students, even by a student. In many cases, a student was also asked additional questions, to better see his level in X or Y subject. There have been cases when the students were dissatisfied with the evaluation, then by decision of the directorate, after the consultation with the committee was done in the eyes of the students, another committee was set up with teachers of the same subject, but not with the participation of the teacher of the subject. The student was confronted again with the acquired knowledge. This eliminated disagreements, or dissatisfactions, that could arise. With this model of exams, the teacher was face to face with the student, the work of the teacher was also seen, seeing the evaluations of the students as a whole according to the grades received. Gentlemen of the Ministry of Education, not everything from the past system was to be thrown in the trash can. Although there were written exams during the year, today they are called tests, but again no conclusion was drawn for individual students, but more was looked at than the chapter of a subject, or the subject itself, had been mastered. In case the class came out with an unsatisfactory result, the teacher worked with consultation hours, but also during the lessons he repeated the topics where more weaknesses were observed during the written tasks. When there is a test, or a written assignment for a chapter, for the subject, when the exam is conducted face to face, not only the student, but also the teacher should be nervous, because there the level of knowledge of the students is looked at, but the work is observed and the assessment is made of the teacher. The work is measured by the results achieved in the teaching subject through the knowledge of the students and not by making propaganda of the Party with how many votes the teacher provided, asking the students whose parents voted for the party of the teacher or the school director. I am for face-to-face student and teacher exams. Money "flies" not only the exam thesis, but also those who draft this thesis. There were no shortage of examples.
