The personality of a contemporary leadership

The personality of a contemporary leadership

The whole society thinks that man is the extraordinary creature, since the ability of thinking in the human being reaches the highest level of all beings on earth. A question naturally arises: Is this achievement a precious gift or a curse? Our curiosity to know everything and in turn to find the way to get above everything is more harmful than helpful! Often times the billions of people in the world don't find themselves trudging around without enjoying the pleasure of their lives. Man is an absurd and paradoxical being who throughout his life does not know what he is looking for. All life is spent by people trying to do something worth leaving a mark in his life. Undoubtedly, a special place in our society is occupied by the personality of a leader who leads the society towards success or towards a disaster. The question naturally arises, what does it mean to be a leader? This word has a complex meaning, as a leader can be like a scholar who leads a certain science, a leader can be a writer who brings a work of art of extraordinary value to society and creates progressive tastes that serve the future, a leader he is obviously a politician who is put in charge of society and leads it according to a certain mandate. And above these groups of people undoubtedly stand outstanding personalities who have been put in charge of them to lead them towards a better future. But unfortunately we often discover that the elections are manipulated, that the political parties are not democratic, that there is corruption in the government, the officials are arrogant... It only takes a tangential look to find a bag of mistakes from the former communist leaders to the present ones. We often encounter helmeted ideas that not only do not lead society towards progress, but on the other hand bring chaos and uncertainty. The exchange of the communist system with the democratic one was vital for the country, which accelerated social transformations and gave time to some former communist leaders to join leftist parties and even be leaders. The attitude of these leaders in politics reduced the efficiency of a functioning democracy with full capacity, but the new leaders who were put in charge of the democratic state lacked political professionalism. Let's illustrate this idea with two statesmen; like Haveli in Czechoslovakia or dr. Berisha in Albania came from a non-political position, the first as a playwright and the second as a cardiologist; were the only possible solutions supported by the West to replace the incriminated communist leaders. But society needed deep changes and not small changes. The leader's relationship with the state has always been noted. In a pluralistic society, a leader should have a leadership limit with mandates defined as it happens in the USA where a president can lead a maximum of only two mandates, but unfortunately this does not happen in some ex-communist countries, including Albania, where the leader, after taking the chair, is strongly attached to it and calls himself eternal, does not recognize the institution of resignation even when the country is plunged into chaos or crisis or corruption or after a state scandal. The power of the leader's chair is surrounded by a bunch of serviles, next to these leaders, who glorify and pump them up as irreplaceable, it gets to the point where votes are stolen and at any cost this leader stays in power. This is definitely the worst model of a leadership that reminds us of the leaders of the time of the dictatorship. An elected leader represents that part that has chosen him, that is, a part of the whole instead of being the leader of all his people. This leads the leader not to choose the one most capable of moving the institution forward, but to appoint a political militant with limited education and culture. State institutions often turn into experimental laboratories where political militants are trained (tested) and not the most skilled intellectual, who is outside these political formations. Failures and incompetents thrive and rule under the shadow of the political leader, which obviously does not bring progress, but discredits the state administration with these militants. A contemporary leader should not politicize the administration through the politicization of power, the ruling party subjugates the institutions through the arbitrary exercise of power. We are witnessing the parallelism of legislative, executive or administrative activity while waiting for a political decision from the party forums. It often happens that personalization is done by the leader with the consecration of the leaders, which dilutes the values ??of these institutions, creating the idea that without the leader there are no institutions and that with his departure, the entire institution disappears, leaving aside the organizational structures. Returning the leader to a single emblem of the institution creates the false image that behind him there is no real possibility of leadership, you cannot invest trust and there will be no continuity! World history and contemporary modern history, especially that with consolidated and successful democracies, has brought formulas in which the main role is occupied by the institutional system with capable and skilled intellectuals. The time of eternal leaders must pass as soon as possible. The mystical perfume of the 'hero', the charismatic leader, the magnificent demagogue, the knight of the holy wars, are characters of the era of charismatic dominance who cannot make a career in today's Europe. In today's era, these leaders, with rational dominance where competence and authority are based on rational ways, often appear as jugglers or charismatic knights who demonstrate a difference in evolution. Unintentionally, we are only talking about the shortcomings of a leader today, because where 'the tooth hurts, the people speak their own language'. We honestly know that there is nothing perfect in this world. Even the Moon, held as a symbol of beauty, is not perfect, if you look at it with a telescope, you see deep craters and it looks ugly; even the sea is not perfect, it has salt water with waves and seaweed, even the sky is not always beautiful as a child's eye, it often has black clouds and throws lightning. So in this world there is nothing perfect, but everything has something special and essential that makes it attractive. It is not without purpose that I brought this example, there cannot be a perfect leader, but a leader must have some important milestones by which he must set contemporary standards and he must never touch that red line that touches the law and institutions... The inviolability of the constitution, the preservation of the country's territory and the country's high interests. History has shown that there have been psychopathic leaders who drowned the world in blood like Hitler, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Sergeant Doe, etc. These leaders have suppressed the will of their peoples with rifles and attacked other peoples with armies, bringing disaster from their backward minds as in the case of the German Nazis led by Hitler. These types of leaders react to law and order by relying on the most uncultivated part of anarchist society to plant evil ideas by feeding a chaotic and anarchist public opinion; then they justify not performing the constitutional functions to exercise power with the impossibility of managing their country and this chaotic reality feeds their position in power as the best solution in this chaos. But there are other examples of progressive leaders who, at a key moment in world history, have provided solutions. The termination of the Cold War, the demolition of the Berlin wall and the unification of the two Germanys undoubtedly have the special merit of the former Russian leader of that time Gorbachev and the American George Bush. The fruits of that agreement were evident in worldwide progress. But there are many cases where certain leaders decide absurdly for the interests of the whole country. Although no one widely accepts that people's representatives (MPs) should be elected by list, but that each candidate compete against each other not by lists, two leaders meet and decide the absurdity that people's representatives should not be elected directly, but for the people to vote for a list presented by them, preferably at 12 o'clock at night! Even though the general public does not accept this scheme, it works and the deputies, representatives of the people are appointed by list. With this interpretation scheme, these leaders often make reality hopeless. This brings to the general mass of the people a climate of pessimism that takes you away from Europe, prolongs the agony and survives the failed mentality. In conclusion, we emphasize that the despotism and nepotism of a leader, corrupt and informal relations, with many anomalies in the direction of the country find answers to the European refusals of the last few days to accept us in their structures. To lead and be a leader,
