The branch of the organization of martyrs in the municipality of Pukë has always been distinguished for the study, finding and exaltation of the fallen in wars and battles fought throughout history. A few days ago, this branch preemptively organized the symposium "Martyrs of Puka in history" for the second time. The organization of the symposium was a very good find by all the members of the martyrs branch. Puka, its men and women throughout the history of their development have faced wars and continuous efforts to live free and proud in their homeland. This is evidenced by many wars fought both in the province of Puka and when the motherland called them and they found themselves near their brothers in the highlands of Shkodra, the Dukagjin Plain, Kosovo, Mirdita, Shkodra, LANÇ, in the construction of Albania and in the developments for the construction of democracy in Albania in the century. XXI. Attention was paid to the recognition and implementation of the law on the status of the martyr of the homeland. In advance, the problem arose for the fallen who deserve to be declared "Martyrs of the Fatherland" in the Puka district, the tasks and the completion of the documentation. In order to be declared martyrs of the Motherland, Law 109/2018 "On the Status of the Martyr of the Motherland" clearly defines the documentation that must be completed by members of the families of the fallen, by associations, by institutions, etc. The documentation based on the law, article 8 states that "For the proclamation "Martyr of the Fatherland", documents of public bodies, created at the time of the event, and, as secondary sources, publications of a historical, folkloric, publicistic and biographical nature are valid as primary sources. , which are expressed about the event, the decrees and decisions of the previous state bodies for the "witness" declaration are valid. However, the main problem for their completion requires work, will, patience and effort from the organization, family members and society for their systematization. Some concrete examples of this problem in the municipality of Pukë that draw attention to the start of work on completing the documentation. Thus, in the writings about the martyrs of Puka, there are many battles where high acts of heroism and blood were shed to protect the country from the many invaders over the centuries. In the fighting that took place on June 29, 1912, in the first attack on the Turkish garrison, Jak Marka Ndreca of Qelza was killed, and a little further away his friend from Qelza, Mhill Marashi, was also killed. During the year 1912, for gaining independence, they fell at the altar of Freedom, Frrok Kolë Gjergjin from Qerreti i Vogël and Ndue Mark Prendushin of Midha, in July 1912, while Keqan Qerimi from Trunit, in August 1912, and Mustafë Adem Braha in November 1912. While in the ambush of Vaspas on November 10, 1912, he was martyred Ismail Arif Neza, in the Pista ambush on November 11, 1912, Halil Mustafa was martyred and Osman Hoxha was martyred in the Fletli ambush on Rrugë Madhe, who was declared a martyr by the decision of the martyr status commission. The "Veterani" newspaper of June 2023, in the writing of the well-known historian Xhemil Meçi, for the 100th anniversary of the Shkodra War in 1913, emphasizes that among the volunteers from Puk, Demë Ismail Ibrahimi, Rexhë Adem Baci and Kurt Cina were martyred, but in the book "Martyrs of the Motherland" prepared by the Ministry of the Interior in 2012, they do not appear as such, they have witnessed this war with their blood. During the First World War, Myftar Selmani of Micoji, Ndoc Mark Deda of Berisha and Çup Prengë Qafa fell in the war with the Serbian invaders in 1915. All three of them had patriotic activity and distinguished themselves in the battles of 1910-1912. Thus, Ndoc Mark Deda, even though your father and brother, Mëhilli, were killed, he formed his squad with brave boys of Berisha and participated in the Midha War, as well as in the battles for the liberation of Puka in 1912 and on. Similarly, in the war with the German, Austro-Hungarian army, in 1918, martyrs have fallen: Prengë Curri, Zeke Curri and Salih Tahiri. History has documented that Zenel Aga from Iballa and Qerim Sokoli from Bugjoni fell on the same day, in 1925. In Resul Bedo's book Yje pashuar, vol. X, it is written about the martyr Ali Bytyçi and it is emphasized that "the inhabitants of Qerreri put up a determined resistance to this Nazi revenge. Although 4 people were killed and terrorized (three men and a girl) and several houses were burned, the enemy did not achieve his goal. For those massacred who tried to resist, they are still not identified and the work to prepare the documentation has to start... The documents were prepared according to the law by the association of military historians of Albania and Father Shtjefën Gjeçovi (Mëhill Gjeçi-Kryeziu) was declared a martyr. ). Përkujtim dhe evidentim të dëshmorëve

E veçanta e këtij simpoziumi ishte përkujtimi i dëshmorëve të Atdheut, të rënë në vitin 1943, në krahinën e Pukës. Kjo ishte një gjetje shumë e bukur. Organizata Kombëtare e Dëshmorëve të LANÇ-it dhe Dëshmorëve të tjerë të Atdheut ka ndërmarrë nismën për organizimin dhe zhvillimin e veprimtarie kombëtare me moton “Viti i dëshmorëve shkrimtarë”, (1 janar-31 dhjetor 2023), në nder të poetit dhe prozatorit të shquar shqiptar, Millosh Gjergj Nikolla (Migjeni), Dëshmor i Atdheut në kuadrin e 85 vjetorit të ndarjes nga jeta më 26 gusht 1938, por dhe në kuadrin e 80 vjetorit të rënies heroike të mjaft heronjve dhe dëshmorëve të atdheut gjatë LANÇ-it dhe në periudha të ndryshme të historisë.

Të rënë gjatë vitit 1943 dhe që kanë 80 vjetorin në Pukë u përkujtuan Nikollë Memë Çuku, rënë në Kryezi; Shaban Halil Uka, rënë në Gjakovë dhe Zek Mark Lleshi, rënë në Pukë.

U përkujtuan dhe dëshmorët Mëhill Mark Deda, në 110 vjetorin e rënies, në Shoshë-Dukagjin; Pjetër Ndue Prendi, nga Berishë e Vogël, në 110 vjetor dhe rënë në Shoshë-Dukagjin; Prelë Mark Ndou, nga Mërtur dhe varur në kalanë e Shkodrës në 105 vjetorin e tij të rënies.

Gjithashtu u përkujtuan dhe dëshmorët: Lek Ndue Berisha, Pjetër Zef Kovaqi, Zef Pjeter Fasllia, Mark Ndue Deda, Ndue Murrec Mehilli për 75 vjetorin e rënies, Bardhok Dodë Jaku dhe Frrok Kol Peraj për 65 vjetorin e rënies.

Një vëmendje ju kushtua në simpozium dhe dëshmorëve të Atdheut rënë në vitet e tranzicionit (pas vitit 1991). Me shqetësim u ngrit problemi në plotësimin e dokumentave, për rregullimin e varrezave të dëshmorëve, të simboleve, por dhe të pajisjes së familjarëve me certifikata dhe simbole etj. Nga dega e dëshmorëveme kryetar Rasim Cina, po bëhet një punë e mirë për shkrimin e jetës së dëshmorëve, të plotësimit të të dhënave, të stendave memateriale dhe foto, të rregullimit të pllakatve historike dhe të lapidarëve në vendin ku ka rënë dëshmorët.

Një ndihmesë të tillë jep dhe libri “Të rënët”, me autor Hilë Lushaku dhe Bajram Ibraj të botuar në vitin 2023, ku janë të pasqyruar dëshmorë nga Puka të rënë në nga forcat e policisë së shtetit dhe shpallur dëshmorë Kolë Ndrec Frroku, Gjovalin Prend Mustafa, Saim Bilal Hoxha. Por ka dhe të rënë e që nuk janë shpallur dëshmorë për mungesë dokumentacioni si Alfred Ndoc Marku, Muharrem Halil Dizdari, Anton Lazër Gjergji, etj. Simpoziumi theksoi me forcë evidentimin e varreve të dëshmorëve të Pukës, sistemimin e tyre, shkrimin e emrave të dëshmorëve që nuk kanë mbetje mortore në varrezat e dëshmorëve me vendim të këshillit bashkiak të Pukës. U theksua nga diskutimet e Xhemal Meçi, Alban Docaj, Ing. Kol Deda, nënprefekti i Shkodrës Besmira Aliaj, për punën që duhte bërë për sistemimin dhe rregullimin e dëshmorëve të të gjithë periudhave të zhvillimit të luftërave, por dhe të rënë në krye të detyrës apo për shkaqe të tjera siç e përcakton ligji.
