International relations in decline

International relations in decline

(Part Three)

Regarding the war in Ukraine and Putin's Russia, I want to emphasize once again the opinion and idea that is spreading in today's European and world circles, that it is better for the USA, Europe and the world, that after the end of the war in this country, and the most beneficial is Putin's stay in power (this is the most possible), because if any controversial and nationalist Russian political figure comes to power, then the biggest risk is the disintegration and division of the Russian Federation in insignificant ministries, which will hermetize it more and make the internal Russian situation more chaotic, which will make the new order of inter-national relations even more uncertain. Between two evils, let the lesser evil be chosen. But a big problem in these international relations is also the "Iran" factor. that it is portraying itself as a strong strategic challenger and fierce opponent of the West. Let's remember the cyber attacks against the official websites of the Albanian state, which caused a chaotic situation for some time in the social and political life of our country, as well as many European countries. Also, Iran appears to us as an opponent and challenger of the USA and Israel in the Near and Middle East, where it is known that this area has been the arena of clashes between the two main civilizations, the Orient and the Occident. Let's not forget the wars that have been going on for decades between different state actors, in order to gain the status of the leading leader of this nerve-racking area, because even here a competitive strategic situation prevails, which apparently will be permanent. The nuclear weapons deal signed in 2015 between Iran and the US, France, Great Britain, Germany, Russia and China obliges the country to limit its nuclear program and not build nuclear weapons. But the reality in the country according to foreign media is quite different from official state announcements. Iran is continuing the project to build a natural uranium reactor. The Iranian regime has started enriching uranium again, although the atomic agreement strictly forbade it, because, it is known, uranium is needed to build nuclear weapons. This is why some fear that Iran is now building a nuclear bomb again, or is thought to have. According to foreign international media, the Iranian regime has supplied weapons to the Assad regime for the escalation of the Syrian civil war. He has also allowed Pasdaran (Iranian Revolutionary Guard) and Lebanese Hezbollah fighters to fight on Assad's side. Tehran took an important role in destabilizing Iraq - both during the US invasion and during the tenure of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. Also, Tehran has been accused by the US and the West, that it has supplied Russia with weapons and drones in its war against Ukraine. Iranian officials have strongly rejected this accusation, although the military cooperation between Iran and Russia is extraordinary, on the grounds that Iran has always expressed the desire for the war to end as soon as possible, to put an end to human suffering. Let's not forget, that Iran has not yet condemned Russia's unprecedented attack on Ukraine. (And supports the idea of ??ending the war). But that's politics after all. According to international relations experts, Iran has been defined as a factor that always seeks destabilization and chaos in the Persian Gulf region and the Arabian Peninsula. Despite the protests and demonstrations that took place last year, the Iranian opposition, which demands deep institutional reforms and demands openness to the West, failed to change the balance of power in the country. We should also take into account the fact that the president of the Iranian state is an ultra-conservative, who has spoken in favor of talks on the atomic agreement, but "I will not allow it to be negotiated just for the sake of negotiation". As far as the European Union is concerned, it can be said, that it is in a fragile, slightly chaotic and very uncertain situation for the future, because within this giant conglomerate of states we have disagreements and many misunderstandings between them. This is due to the fact that European states on very sensitive and very important European and international issues fall with great difficulty in consensus or sometimes at all. Clashes Germany - France and Hungary - EU and other political confrontations of the legal framework only weaken the European Union and its reputation in the eyes of the world. And they make her not play the role properly, for which she was created. The EU is showing itself to be very pragmatic and not far-sighted in fulfilling its political and legal mission. In European political and legal decision-making, UNI is more noticeable, which is extremely damaging and not UNITY, which in these difficult times is very necessary and the most necessary. The most urgent. Because as Jean Monnet said, there is no other future for the European peoples, except for the European Union. This is the fate and destiny of all Europeans.
