Several times I have been to the school "Et-hem Zhgaba" in the village of Vranisht in the Devolli area, and to be honest, every time I go there, I learn something, despite the fact that its Director, Endri Fifo, a worker like no other, I am a friend old. The last time, I was impressed, in its interior, Endri, with his own strength, had set up a simple Museum, where, among others, he had exhibited a candle, a kerosene lamp with a wick, a pen tail wood and a pen tip that were used at the time when we, our generation of "nostalgics" were learning to read and write, or as today's young people say, "of the ghetto"! These "primitive" tools are deeply rooted in my mind, and they remind me of the time when the will and passion of the time were above the "primitive" tools. Today, the "modern" technology tools are taking education to the time of the Neanderthal Man. If I was "nostalgic" of the past, I wanted to be like that for the forms and methods used by the teaching staff of this school to prepare and train the next generation, who measure their work with concrete results. The authority of teachers is not based on "ignorance", "wood", or shouting or cursing, but is based on their knowledge, cultured behavior, the respect they enjoy not only from students, but also from their parents, from their persistence that they should also use the time outside of class for the training of the students so that no one is left behind. All these belong to the past and never, neither I nor anyone who remembers this teacher's working method, can be nostalgic, as long as a whole army of cadres of all professions were educated who built factories and plants, that they received knowledge and accelerated the new science that with "primitive" means set up institutions and universities for the professional training of hundreds and thousands of cadres and managers in all professions. I am now taking my example, more than half a century ago, because most of this generation had these conditions and these tools when we acquired knowledge. We didn't have electric light in the village, but we learned under the light of the kerosene lamp when it was smoking like a factory chimney and the smoke was spreading on the ceiling and later, the pot of the kerosene lamp said "stop"! Since the first class of primary school, in 1955, the most beautiful day would be when we were told that we would receive the school books, just before the beginning of the month of September. We had the 7-year old school an hour and a half away and going back and forth, winter and summer, we traveled three hours a day. Still without taking off the rubber bands, still without eating lunch, we would do the day's tasks, we would study for the next day because dinner, the "god" with the hook, did not know. The mother didn't have school, even the father who had three or four grades of school, their first word was: "We don't want any work from you, just learn and learn well, so that you don't end up like us"!. Once they didn't engage us in work, taking care of all the day's work and livestock. There are many others, but even this, I believe that it is enough to be called more than "primitive" in terms of conditions, but very "modern" in the acquisition of knowledge and science, to take on great responsibilities in all fields of life, and above all human, educated and kind, of great sacrifices. Everyone, today, has every opportunity to make a comparison with today's "moderns" from the possibilities and modern tools of technology that they mostly use to go to the time of "caves" when people lived in caves, when it doesn't get dark culture and education, when mostly "Idiots" and "functional illiterates" are graduating! If we make a comparison, who should be the "Capital of Knowledge" today, it will surely become the Vranisht Village of Devolli and in the end, the Capital of "Functional Idiots" will be the current Capital with numerous American, European and Asians who "graduate" in majority and minority, "illiterate" of all "brands" such as Ministers and MPs, Central and local Presidents, leaders of gangs and thieves, drug addicts and prostitutes in majority and minority, art and culture workers who occupy positions key in propaganda tools such as televisions, etc. This bastard democracy that we have today and thirty-three years ago, which is not only democracy, when everyone "commands" and no one is "commanded", is rotting from the inside this chaotic society where the first does not understand the second. Today, such intellectuals can be counted on the fingers of the hand. It is about the most important thing, education. Teachers, from our generation of "nostalgics", are considered as saints.. We remember the teachers that when they entered the classroom, we students, stood "Sus"! We did not stand in fear, they neither insulted us nor beat us, but their authority rested on the knowledge they had and gave us, and over time, we tried to copy them, because they were our mirror. . At that time, education was a problem of the whole society, of the family, of the village, of the government. Yes today? Today, education has gone to "Greek calendars"! Just one example I am taking is the expression of the "functional ignoramuses" of the policy Dredëllisin time and time again for the increase of teachers' salaries. They do well, but the main thing is, has it affected and does it affect the increase in the quality of teaching? Shame, not at all! But why? Because the role of the teacher has faded. With this big gap, politics, to forget love, respect and harmony in society, not to mention that they are the most hated! But where do the teachers take an example"? They take from the politicians that they are extorting this country and putting it in their pockets. Could it be love here? Forget the "democrats" of politics! What about the family, which is the root of the education of young men and women? Even the family fled in the direction of the "suspect"! Does the mother or father hold the child accountable for school lessons? He asks for them, but not for the lessons, but because the "Big Brother" hour begins! Having learned this way, these teenagers say to the teacher: "Let's finish quickly, teacher, because we have work to do"! Is it their job to teach or read? It's not even a question! Their job is to find ammunition for the weapon, to provide mines with remote control, to distribute drugs, tasks that have been assigned to them by their friends, and many, many others that are corrupting this society from the inside. What about the "knowledgeable TV channels?" . Their task is that they supposedly propagate morality, but in fact, they promote immorality, with shows such as "Big Brother", Match", etc., etc., before these, the propaganda about morality is like that woman who demonstrates the back of her front and back, as if trying to "cover up"..! The educational task of television is zero! Being partisan, they invite politicians and realtors to be analysts, but not educators. If we see who predominates in society today, the bad or the good, we will be easily convinced. Today, the teacher gives their example, not with knowledge, but with clothing made of brass, with the opposite of knowledge. Agree, these are few, very few cases, but if we consider that the evil from these "functional experts" is embraced very quickly, we also see the daily consequences. Even "Big Brother" in a "famous hut" is played, but it is demonstrated in thousands of "huts"!
