Berisha, the "gallows" where Albanian justice hangs

Berisha, the "gallows" where Albanian justice hangs

Since SPAK, BKH, ILD started their work, Albanian justice not only did not reach the expected, but it has been stuck in place and in some cases has taken steps backwards. Although murders, thefts and crime have been present everywhere in Albania for years, we hear the same statements from the higher bodies of justice: "in the fall we will catch the big fish", "the matter is under investigation", "we do not talk media, but according to reports and evidence."etc. We ask, how long does a case under investigation last, is there a legal deadline? And if it is done with "reports", Albanians want to know what is done with the reports filed for years? Likewise, if "newspaper gossip" or "portal pressures" are defamation, violate the dignity of the person, obstruct the work of the justice bodies, they should be punished criminally, without allowing them to speculate with the freedom of the press. Why doesn't the Prosecutor's Office provide clarifications about the charges against Meta and Berisha, which are "covered" with facts that all Albanians know. The silence clearly shows that the prosecutors are either threatened or corrupt. Because even when there are no reports, the prosecution must undertake its own investigations, for any suspicion it finds, because it is paid for that work. The reports made by T. Balla, Romeo Kara and I. Beqiri for the illegal privatization of the "Partizani" complex, and of CEZ, for the theft of gold in Krrabë and the murder of A. Hajdari, seem to be sleeping in the drawers, not for lack of of evidence, but for other, more important reasons. So also for many other issues that the people are ready to see in the light of the sun, the "cauldron" of justice boils and boils but does not pour. This happens because the entire justice system is hanging on the hook that has stuck to the fragile building of the state Sali Berisha since he took power. All our politicians hang their jackets with pockets full of dirty money on this shelf. Bags of drugs, murder tracks, tragedies and crimes of every kind hang in that trap. Berisha first worked with a well-thought-out strategy to fully control the justice system, on which a healthy democracy depends. He deleted from the system all honest judges and prosecutors because they "were communists" and opened the 6-month course of the poplars, and thus they began to "do justice" to ex-shepherds, ex-insurance, pseudo-persecuted and other elements related to crime. Being mixed with the communist mindset, that "justice is decided by the party", Berisha tried to increase his hand and give orders with full powers as chief investigator, chief prosecutor of the chief court. From the school cleaner, people's mandates, up to the minister, they could be imprisoned, when it was up to Berisha. Governments were changed four times in these thirty years, but Berisha's "horse" remains motionless. All our politicians benefited from having such a justice system, filled with incompetent and corrupt people, because they easily use them whenever they need. In these 30 years of democracy, only four big "fish" have been arrested. Fatos Nano, who was imprisoned more to give him credibility, and three ministers, Skera, in 2016 for abuse of state funds, about 30 million lek, Tahiri for drug trafficking and Koka for corruption with incinerators. Their punishments, especially those of Skera and Tahir, who fell victim to political clans, are laughable before the murders, crimes and thefts of millions of euros that happen today by people on both sides of politics. In order to bring justice out of agony, the laws of what was called Veting were voted with grace and displeasure by the 140 deputies, but Krrabë e Saliu has not played from the country. Saliu and Iliri became part of the new bench of justice, having their representatives in the Veting bodies. Vetingu, although he swore to be impartial and independent from the parties, removed from the system only those who did not have the support of political forces. The fact that both wings of politics pretend to criticize the higher bodies of justice shows that it serves both sides. Now the bodies of justice come around the stele of the "rabbit" carefully so as not to disturb his sleep. Justice, if he wants to establish himself in this country in a real and honest way, he should start with Sali Berisha, and then the Albanians will see how the entire "chain" of the incriminated, which has been strangling Albania for thirty years, will be broken. The mountain of corruption has weighed heavily on the backs of Albanians, so some have been forced to leave the country and others to self-judge, while Berisha continues to steal, turn into an accuser against all those who are against him, make protests, and even have promised that on the day the EU Summit will be held here, he will make the biggest protest, to show the Albanians and the world that he is an invincible communist. Every time justice acts as if it is exploding, a threat by Berisha, it is a drop of cold water that shakes it and returns it to its previous state. Therefore, if the gallows that Berisha hanged is not removed, this people will never have justice. For this, Brussels should raise hope, which these days has called all the heads of justice there and persistently asked them to implement Chapter 23 of the Association and Stabilization Agreement in order to bring Albanian justice into the abyss of honesty. In Croatia and Romania, sensational arrests were made when the four areas of this chapter were opened.
