Today is the saddest day of the year, here's what to do to avoid the 'blue moon'
Written by SOT.COM.AL 17 Janar 2022
If everyone thought it was just and only a typical Monday, in fact not. It is not a cliché and this is accepted by psychology.
This Monday is officially the most depressing day of the year. Do not look for more reasons to justify "misery" this January - get an answer tomorrow.
Called "Blue Monday", the third Monday in January is thought to be one of the days when people are sadder and more pessimistic than any other day of the year. It has been talked about for several years and, as far as it is understood, "blue moon" is no longer just a "hashtag", but the result of a current formula well thought out by a psychologist.
"Blue Monday" is supposed to be the most monotonous, boring and miserable day of the year. According to the formula, "blue moon" falls on the third Monday after the New Year. This year, "blue Monday" is this January 21st.
Psychologists explain that the formula takes into account weather conditions, debts, the passing of the holidays, Christmas and New Year, but also low levels of motivation.
The colors of the holidays have been replaced by early mornings, gray weather and new challenges, something that makes many strive to remain productive and positive. The days get shorter and darker, while waking up earlier. Energy starts and goes, but all of this is surmountable.
However, researchers admit that there is no scientific truth to the "blue moon", but it is an accumulation of various external factors in January, which easily affect the mood.
But what should you do to avoid the saddest day of the year?
To avoid experiencing the "blue moon" there are some tips:
1- Put a lot of vegetables on the table,
2- Get as much vitamin D,
3- Stay active,
4- Take a walk in nature,
5- Do not refuse sexual intercourse.
