However, some popular tourist destinations in New York, the United Kingdom, France, Spain and others have put in place rules to prevent visitors from taking selfies.

The following are seven of the locations where taking selfies is prohibited:

Taking selfies with lions in New York

No matter where you are in New York, it is forbidden to take pictures of animals, such as lions, tigers and some other animals. This law was passed in 2014 and limits interaction between the public and animals to prevent injury or death.
