The director of ChatGPT is dismissed, the Albanian Mira Murati takes his place

The board of OpenAI announced that it will remove from the position of the executive director, Sam Altman, and in his place, Mira Murati will be installed temporarily.

According to the statement, Altman has not been transparent with the staff, thus not fulfilling the duties that belonged to him. It is not yet known what exactly it is about.

Mira Murati, OpenAI's chief technology officer, will take over as interim CEO while the company begins the process of finding a permanent leader.

"OpenAI's board of directors, which acts as the overall governing body for all OpenAI activities, announced today that Sam Altman will step down as CEO and step down from the board of directors. Mira Murati, the company's chief technology officer, will serve as interim CEO, effective immediately," the statement said.

OpenAI produces the ChatGPT artificial intelligence program.
