Want to have clean, healthy skin even in winter?

Keep in mind that the winter period is not welcome for the skin. Cold weather and low levels of humidity in the air affect the drying of the skin, so special care is needed.

Follow the tips below.

A warm shower is always welcome on cold winter days, but if you can, especially when washing your face and hands, use lukewarm water to prevent the necessary fat from leaving the skin.

Your skin needs hydration all the time, but it is necessary immediately after washing. Always keep the moisturizer with you and as soon as you notice that the skin is dry apply it.

Make it a routine to use gloves and scarves to protect your skin from wind, rain and snow. Also, do not forget to apply sunscreen. The sun during the winter can be just as harmful as during the summer season so use zinc-containing creams on the parts exposed to the sun.

Heating systems usually affect the drying of the air in enclosed spaces, so make sure you have enough moisture in the places where you stay. By taking care to have plenty of moisture, you also take care of your skin.

       5. Drink enough water

Given that in the cold season more we like to drink hot drinks like cocoa or various teas we drink much less water than usual. However, hydration must also be done from within the body. Lemon water can be refreshing and moisturizing at the same time.

6. Moisturize the skin overnight

Dryer parts like hands, feet, elbows and knees have thinner skin with a tendency to dry faster than other parts of the body. Apply moisturizer to these areas overnight and wear cotton gloves and socks to retain moisture until morning.

Ngrënia e ushqimeve që kanë përmbajtje të ujit ju ndihmon të hidratoni lëkurën nga brenda-jashtë. Pemët si shalqiri, molla, portokalli, kivi dhe pjepri ndërsa perimet si celeri, domatja, trangujt, dhe karrotat kanë përmbajtje të lartë të ujit dhe ndihmojnë në hidratim të lëkurës.
