Sweden wins "Eurovision 2023", Albania ranks 22nd

Sweden was declared the winner of "Eurovision 2023". The singer Loreen with the song "Tattoo" won the first place, receiving the maximum points, 583 points from all competing songs. Finland came in second, while Israel came in third. Albania was represented this year with the song "Duje" sung by Albina and the Kelmendi family, which ranked 22nd with 76 points. The song "Duje" has lyrics by Eriona Rushiti and music by Enis Mullaj. A spectacle full of emotions and a fantastic performance brought the grand final of "Eurovision 2023", which this year took place at the Liverpool Arena in Great Britain. In December 2022, Albina and the Kelmendi family received the maximum votes from the public at the RTSH Song Festival, being the Albanians' favorite to send Albania's "logo" to the European song scene. but also won the second prize of the festival with the evaluation of the professional jury. With the public's appreciation, Kelmendi was the representative of our country this year in "Eurovision". In the televoting of the public, Albania, which was represented by Kelmendi and her family, received 59 points. Of them, only one country received maximum points, 12, from Switzerland. In total, Albania received 17 points from the jury's votes and 59 from the public's. The "Eurovision" final was held on Saturday evening and the list of finalists consisted of Croatia, Moldova, Switzerland, Finland, Serbia, Czech Republic, Israel, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Albania, Cyprus, Estonia, Belgium, Austria, Lithuania, Poland, Australia, Armenia, etc. Only 20 countries were selected from the two semi-finals on May 9 and 11 to perform in the grand final this evening on May 13. which will be joined by the 5 permanent finalist countries (Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Italy and Germany) as well as last year's winning country (Ukraine), who complete the list of 26 finalist countries. Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra won last year's competition, but organizers decided to hold it in another location because of the war. This year "Eurovision" marked the 67th edition. Albania has started participating in "Eurovision" since 2004.

Studentët e Tetovës vizitojnë muzeun “Shtëpia me gjethe”

Students of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova visited the National Museum of Recordings "House with leaves" in Tirana. This museum occasionally hosts groups of visitors, this time students from Tetova, North Macedonia. The building known as the "House of Leaves" (so called because of the creeping plant that covered its facade), has now been turned into the National Museum of Interceptions. Opened on May 23, 2017, this museum tries to tell young people and foreigners about one of the darkest periods of the country's history. Conceived in 9 sections, the "Leaf House" National Audio Museum consists of 31 coherently connected rooms and each room has a special function. From time to time this museum conducts various activities and opens exhibitions.
