The winners of the Literary Translation Fund from Albanian to Foreign Languages ??are announced

The National Book and Reading Center announced the winning works for the Albanian to Foreign Language Literary Translation Fund. This year, 6 winning works were announced. The evaluations were shared in the presence of the Minister of Culture Elva Margariti. Minister Margariti says that every year, the Ministry of Culture through the National Book and Reading Center shared the winners of the Albanian to Foreign Language Translation Fund, which aims to promote Albanian literature across borders. "I am glad that this fund, although modest, has been consolidated and this year we had 24 applications for translations in different languages, from Italian and Greek to Arabic. Of course, not all of them could be supported, but only 6. Although the selection criteria are very professional, referring to the quality of the translation, I am glad that among the winners there are different generations of authors, from the established ones to the youngest", says the Minister of Culture on social networks, who has also shared photos from the NKLL. From 24 applications, the jury, chaired by Ben Andoni and members Irena Prici, Esmeralda Kromidha, evaluated 6 authors and works to be financially supported by the National Book and Reading Center.
