Ernest Koliq's role in literature, researchers at the conference 

The study conference on Ernest Koliq gathered researchers on Monday. In the opening speech, the executive director of QSPA, prof. Diana Kastrati emphasized the importance and weight of the polyhedral Ernest Koliqi. Then, the welcoming speech was given by the vice-rector of ASA, Valter Memisha, who in his speech emphasized the role of Ernest Koliq in Albanian literature. Researcher Ardian Ndreca opened the door yesterday to the conference "Polyedric Ernest Koliqi on the 120th anniversary of his birth" with the presentation of an unknown novel of this novel. The novel is titled "Odore di popolo" and is written in Italian. Although the novel is not finished, it brings a very important contribution of works in foreign languages ??by Albanian writers. The book contains 135 pages and was dated 1956. The correspondence continued with Mrs. Evalda Paci (ASA), who addressed the statement "The spirit of the Albanian folk epic in the observations of Ernest Koliq". She emphasized that in the work of Koliq, elements of the Canon, the law and how they are embodied in popular mindsets are reflected in an expanded way. Persida Asllani and Dhurata Shehri (University of Tirana) addressed the paper "Ernest Koliqi in search of a comparative history of Albanian literature". Shehri and Asllani in their statement emphasized that Koliqi seeks to identify the national spirit in relation to the influence of world literature. Later, in the first session, Laura Smaqi (University of Tirana) took the floor, with the speech "Dreaming in the poetics of Ernest Koliq". Researcher Arian Leka (ASA) dealt with the speech "Nj'anak laresh from Prendim - the concepts and examples of oriental and prendimi in the opinion of Ernest Koliq". This first session was concluded by the researcher Virion Graçi (ASA), who addressed the paper "Aesthetic, philosophical and ethnological images in the short prose of Ernest Koliq". Prof. Diana Kastrati (QSPA) opened yesterday the second session of talks, where other researchers were also present. The conference was organized by the Center of Studies and Publications for Arbëreshe in cooperation with the Institute of Linguistics and Literature (ASA), in the premises of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
