The animated "Cradle" is a movie that will come for all ages. A project by director Valmir Tertini, which is expected to be completed at the end of this year. The director Valmir Tertini, known for his activity in cinematography, who is currently making the animated film called "Cradle", shows that he comes as a new trend in the animation genre. "Djepi" will be realized in 3D animation. The working staff is from Albania, but part of the rendering will be done in England", says the director. The cradle is treated as an object, where the grandmother is in the spotlight, the baby in it accompanied by lullabies chosen from all Albanian-speaking lands. The objects located in a country house, accompanied by lullabies, show the strengthening of a character through the stages. The film was financed in Kosovo, but according to the director Tertini, it is expected that such a thing will happen in Albania as well. But there is also interest from the Albanian diaspora for this specific topic, which we know very well, but which has not been addressed until now, and while the director Valmir Tertini is bringing it in detail even in the genre, which is not developed in our country.

Working with animated film

The animated film "Djepi" follows Valmir Tertini's projects as a director, but he says that it is a film that he intends to show at various festivals afterwards. "The film is expected to be completed at the end of the year and its aim is to be shown at festivals, which belong to animation", says Tertini about working with this film, which he sees as a beautiful challenge. Tertini says that after this project, work awaits him with another feature film project. "Animation gives you a fundamental creative opportunity, this is a beautiful challenge for me. But after that I have the long feature film waiting for me. "Cradle" is a 3D animated film, sometimes you think that everything is real, the characters bring you back to animation. The film is for all ages," says the director. Valmir Tertini a director, that in his activity he has so far won 34 different awards, he has made documentaries and feature films, but the project with "Cradle" is the first time in his work in animation. "A challenge that I'm enjoying", director Tertini says. Some time ago, the director Valmir Tertini became a member of the European Film Academy. An assessment he says is an honor for him. "Being a member of the European Film Academy is an honor, from the contacts that this academy brings, the support for projects to the common platform to see the innovations of European cinematography, and of course the right to vote for the best European film ", he says. Director Valmir Tertini is known for his films with bold themes such as "Vulë" about the unconscious employee of the embassy in Kosovo, which has brought 13 international awards, screened at more than 60 film festivals. Then the film "Tradhti me letra" about marriages for documentation, which has brought 11 awards. As a director, Valmir Tertini is also making the long artistic documentary about Bekim Fehmiu, which was shot in six countries and is expected to be published this year. He is a film professor at the "World Academy of Tirana".
