NKLL, a meeting on Albania's participation in the Turin Book Fair

Albania will be the guest of honor at the Turin Book Fair. The fair will take place from May 18 to 22. The Director of the National Book and Reading Center Alda Bardhyli together with representatives of Regione Puglia, the Italian publisher, Mr. Livio Muci, who has a contribution to the recognition of the Albanian book in the Italian language, the chairman of the Association of Publishers, Mr. Petrit Ymeri, representative of the Ministry of Culture, talked about a more dignified representation of the Albanian author's book in this important event for the literary world, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of Albania. "Through the mirror" is the theme of the XXXV edition of the Turin International Book Fair. A hymn to imagination, the force that has always pushed man beyond banality, everyday life, beyond reality itself and a tribute to the brilliant universe of British author Lewis Carroll. Earlier in February, the Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti, said that in this book fair, our country will be presented with dignity with some of the representatives of our literature. "We welcomed the invitation with pleasure and we believe that we will present ourselves with dignity to some of the representatives of our literature and publishing house, through whose work we rediscover and redimension ourselves, but also present ourselves in the eyes of foreign readers. We can't wait to meet in Turin, in the name of literature but also in the name of beauty", said Margariti earlier in a video message. The Turin International Book Fair is the largest in Italy and one of the most important in Europe and the Mediterranean region. The recent meeting on participation in this fair took place at the KKLL and follows the work of this center. The mission of the NKLL is to follow and implement projects in the field of books, according to the governing program of the ministry responsible for books.
