The poems turned into hit songs came through the interpretation of two actors Yllka Mujo and Luiza Xhuvani. The two famous actresses were accompanied on the piano by Merita Tërshana and the most popular poems that have been sung over the years in songs were brought to the audience. The poetic evening in the hall of the Cathedral of the Orthodox Church in Tirana closed the National Cultural Week that started a few days ago and continued with various artistic and cultural activities. This evening of November 30 gave emotions to those present, where the creativity of well-known authors such as Teodor Keko, Zhuliana Jorganxhi, etc. was interpreted. "Each of us knows the songs that come from poetry, many of us immediately think of them as soon as we hear the melody. For all those who are passionate about this unique combination of the art of writing and music, we invite you to a special evening where the focus is on poems turned into hit songs", it was said earlier about this evening on the page of the International Cultural Weeks . This evening with the two famous actresses Yllka Mujo and Luiza Xhuvani, where the poems turned into hit songs were interpreted, was one of the special moments of the National Cultural Week.  

Activities in Tirana, but also in other cities

 During the National Cultural Week, various activities were held in Tirana, but they were not absent in other cities of the country. The National Cultural Week started on November 21 and continued until the 30th of the month we left behind. Artists, authors and researchers from Kosovo were part of this week in the various activities that took place, but there were also literary prizes. The important literary award "Beqir Musliu" that is shared by the Municipality of Gjilan for authors who have left a mark among their works with the aim of honoring and recognizing even wider and continuous literary works, this year was given to the well-known writer Mr. Ismail Kadare. This ceremony was held at the Embassy of Kosovo in Tirana and undoubtedly remains a celebration for Albanian letters in this Cultural Week. Among the activities we mention the exhibition of the artist from Kosovo, Ermir Zhinipotoku in Tirana. His exhibition "From the studio: a selection of paintings and sketches" was opened at the National Historical Museum. Part of this week was the "Sounds of Freedom" concert at the National Opera and Ballet Theater with a compilation of Albanian songs performed by soloists Ylber Gjini, Eva Golemi, Armando Likaj, Adelina Paloja, Denis Skura, Simona Karafili, Matias Xheli and Igli Rapaj, conducted by Dritan Lumishi with the TKOB Symphony Orchestra and Choir. Among the activities, we mention Shpat Deda's concert in Tirana. The singer-songwriter loved by the public held a concert in the hall of the Orthodox Church Cathedral, where fans of his music came. During the National Cultural Week in Vlora, the concert "Our Homeland" took place. In this vocal-instrumental concert, the attendees watched performances by Nina Muho (soprano), Aredion Lici (piano), Sokol Hidersha (baritone), Lira Paço (violin) and Kris Sopiqoti (composer/arranger) with some of the best works of performed by Albanian composers. During this week there was no shortage of Albanian films. The Cinematographic Center of Kosovo, within the framework of the National Cultural Week, showed the film "The Rise and Fall of Shokut Zylo", directed by Fatmir Koçi, in the cinema "Agimi" in Tirana.
