Painter Aleksandër Filipi: The "November" exhibition in the 26th edition, with the language of contemporary art, tries to address problems that continue to accompany our lives

The annual exhibition of Albanian painting "November" this year in its 26th edition comes with the participation of well-known artists. "November 26" in the artistic life of Tirana is one of the most important activities in the field of visual art, where this year the authors will present works from their creativity. The exhibition opens this evening at the FAB gallery near the University of Arts, organized by the painter Aleksandër Filipi. He says that painters are presented with new works, as a rule, they are presented with 1 or 2 works in painting, mainly in the genre of composition. "This grouping of "November" is specific to the compositional picture and the figure, mainly in the genre of easel painting. This has been an objection and tendency of this group of painters to present. We have as criteria one or two works of the genre of compositional paintings, but it can also be a portrait, a human figure, while the painting must be unexposed before. Mainly a compositional picture, which with the language of contemporary art tries to deal with problems that continue to accompany the life of our country", says the painter and curator Aleksandër Filipi about the participation in this exhibition, which opens this evening in Tirana.

Painters and creative individuality

The exhibition "November" is one of the important activities in the artistic life in the capital, which invites the public to see works that are presented for the first time in the FAB gallery, but the painter Aleksandër Filipi says that they are painters consolidated in their creative individuality. He says that as a group they don't have any platform, except the big platform of living with art and following or adding their work to the large number of works created during life. "They are painters consolidated in creative individuality and the effort of everyone has to come with a flow within themselves", says Filipi. The exhibition that opens today at the FAB gallery follows others that have been opened before in these premises. Painter Aleksandër Filipi says that this exhibition is also realized with the efforts of the artists themselves. "We at the FAB gallery wanted to open the exhibition "November" and there is also the University of Arts, where some of the participants of this group are also pedagogues at the UA", says Filipi. The exhibition in the FAB gallery near the University of Arts contains works by artists such as: Aleksandër Filipi, Anastas Konstandini, Adrian Devolli, Andi Hila, Artan Buca, Ardit Boriçi, Agron Mesi, Buron Kaceli, Dea Tili, Denisa Brahimi, Eniela Veveçka, Erion Bardhi, Erina Dibra, Fatmir Juka, Gazmend Leka, Hasan Çapari, Xenofon Dilo, Llazar Taçi, Merita Selimi, Meri File, Nikolin Ivanaj, Shpëtim Kîçova, Pëllumb Bylyku, Orlis Vathi, Zef Shoshi, etc. The exhibition at the FAB gallery will remain until the end of this month.
