Margariti: The work "Meteor" an added value and a new cultural attraction for Golem

"Meteor" is the title of a work by the artist Kristaq Krisiko that was placed in Golem. The work "Meteor" was among the winners of the competition for "Art in Public Space", which took place last year. The Minister of Culture Elva Margariti, the political leader of the SP for the district of Tirana Erion Veliaj, and the mayor of the Municipality of Kavaja Redjan Krali inaugurated the artistic work "Meteor", installed in Golem, as a space for children, but also for adults. Veliaj said that thanks to the work done by the mayor of Kavaja, Redjan Krali, Golemi is cleaner, brighter, and the value of the property has increased. While the Minister of Culture Elva Margariti says that the work "Meteor" is an added value and a new cultural attraction for Golem. “It looks like an ancient object that the sea washed up on Golem's shore; a shell that brings voices from within; a meteor that has traversed the universe. Together with Erion, Redjani and an energetic community, we inaugurated in Golem one of the works realized as part of the "Art in Public Space" initiative. It is precisely titled "Meteor", a work of the master Kristaq Krisiko, an added value and a new cultural attraction for Golem; an example of reviving public spaces", says Margariti on social networks, where he also shared photos during the inauguration of the work. According to Margariti, Golem has turned into an extraordinary space for Kavaja and all the residents here. "Thanks to Redi Krali's work, it is cleaner, brighter, with more tourism and full of new opportunities," she says. In the presence of artists, members of the jury, collegium, years in October and the winning projects of the international competition "Art in Public Spaces" were presented to the diplomatic missions. The works, which were previously announced as winners of the "Art in Public Space" international competition, will be implemented in public spaces, such as overpasses, roundabouts and infrastructural nodes, in order to improve their image. In the first phase of this competition, 132 competitive projects were presented.
