Four Italian films will be shown in Tirana. For the public it will be a summary of the films selected among the candidates for the "David di Donatello" award, the prestigious award of the Italian Cinema Academy, which annually selects the best Italian films. The Italian Institute of Culture presents Italian Screens, the new Italian cinema in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy and the Municipality of Tirana. The National Center of Cinematography states on its website that four films were chosen for the cinematographic exhibition in Tirana, different in terms of genre and the construction of the environment where the events take place. "Ariaferma" by Leonardo Di Costanzo, the award for the best screenplay and the best leading actor; "I fratelli De Filippo" by Sergio Rubini, a film that traces the story of two great authors of Neapolitan comedy;

Italian Screens is an initiative created to present the best of Italian cinema and is promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, by Cinecittà for the General Directorate of Cinema and Audiovisual, by the Ministry of Culture and by the Academy of Italian Cinema - David di Donatello Awards. Italian Screens is a very important opportunity to make the protagonists of Italian cinema known abroad, to create an audience that appreciates the excellent productions of the moment, but also to present to local operators the best of what the Italian audiovisual system offers for it, with the aim of encouraging co-productions, increasing the professional quality of the industry and internationalizing our cinema. The exhibition also represents a very good networking opportunity to allow the operators of the sector to stay in touch with those who can best illustrate the incentive program, at national and regional level, in support of the production for those who shoot in Italy . After stops in Miami, Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Paulo, New Delhi and Berlin, the initiative will be presented in Tirana from March 28 to 30 in the presence of institutions, some of the most popular figures of Albanian cinema and special guests from Italy, directors and protagonists of films to be shown. The initiative is part of a wider project for the deepening of cultural relations between Italy and Albania, organized by Cinecittà for the DGCA of the Ministry of Culture, with the aim of encouraging meeting opportunities between producers,
