The "Violin Marathon" festival in its 11th edition with works of world literature and 8 premiere works for solo violin

The "Violinistic Marathon" festival this year comes with a rich musical creativity, where participants are well-known artists. For years in the artistic life, this edition of the festival, which will take place in a few days for the public, is one of the events that should not be missed. The "Violinistic Greetings" activity of the "Bota e Arti" association, the 11th edition of the "Violinistic Marathon" festival with the participation of foreign violinists who perform Albanian violinistic music composed especially for this edition is a novelty for the Albanian violin. Ina Kosturi, the organizer of the festival, says that entitled "Styled with violinistic music", styled in Albanian, this edition brings together works of world literature and 8 premiere works for solo violin. "There are 7 Capriccios for solo violin and a Duo Capric for violin and cello", says violinist Kosturi, organizer of the festival. This 11th edition starts with the concert on May 25 at the University of Arts. This concert is supported by the Austrian Embassy and is part of the Concert Season of the Faculty of Music. "Kodaly String Duo Wienna" is a violin and cello duo. Sebastian Leczky violinist and Marcel Leczky cellist are characters of "Violin Channel" and "Strad Magazin" who study and perfect themselves from Vienna in America, perform with orchestras and make successful debuts in competitions and important events of the musical world. In addition to the program of Duot works by Moxart and Kodaly, the concert brings the premiere of 2 Albanian works, composed for these musicians by the violinist, associate professor at UA Ina Kosturi.

 This edition follows the success of the premiere works for violin in previous editions, composed by Ina Kosturi, in Slovenia and America. In Slovenia, the "Violin Concerto in A minor" was praised for its creation and interpretation with the Gold Award and Second Prize.
