The Cloud Festival, with performances by Albanian and foreign artists for the public

Cloud Festival 7, mixing the traditional with the contemporary. This year's festival brought together Albanian and foreign artists with cultural performances, both contemporary and traditional. The performance "Wedding without a bride" opened the seventh edition of the New Festival in Tirana on May 4 and continues with the artists for the public. In the evenings of the festival, a night filled with culture, songs and a very beautiful atmosphere was with Sazet e Përmet. The artists brought their music inherited from generation to generation, followed by the Spanish songs of Loren Alvarez. Earlier they were in Reja "Group Çunat e Tirona" consisting of Bledi Mbroci (singer), Fatjon Konxholli (singer), Roni Mulleti (main keyboardist), Nardi Rrapo (keyboard), Mir Fusha (drums), Klodi Mulleti (drums), Erald Demiri (clarinet), who gave a festive night. An unforgettable evening at the festival was also provided by Beti and Fation, who brought liveliness with Albanian folk songs, while Marco Castelli provided emotions. The ensemble "Pulsi i Berati" also gave many emotions and beautiful moments at the festival. In the future, the program will bring other artists, such as "Foltin", which is a musical group from North Macedonia, known for their experimentation with many styles and sounds. Their music is a mix of many genres which include Indie, Alternative, World Music, Funk, Electroacoustic, Jazz etc. Foltin's shows are theatrical and stay very close to the cabaret style. They have also worked on musical theater and film productions since 1998/1999, including the film Honeyland. winner of the Oscar and Sundance 2019 in the category for the best international film. Over 150 Albanian and foreign artists with performances are this year at the festival, which runs until May 20. The artistic director of the festival, Edit Pula, said earlier that the New Festival comes with a diverse program, such as various shows, films, ensembles, large orchestras, etc. The Cloud Festival is organized by the Municipality of Tirana, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, some foreign embassies, etc.
